The library has general books and reference books, encyclopaedias and dictionaries for preparation of various subject related and competitive examinations Books (IAS, PCS, and NDA , BANKING) .

Cultural activities
Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar organizes public and inter-zonal youth fairs every year, in which competitions related to folk dance, literary art, are organized. After exploring the talents of the students, they are given the opportunity to participate in these competitions by conducting special training for them. Apart from this a platform is also provided for the students to participate in various programs and competitions organized by the Department of Youth Services.

Special Camps organized by National Service Scheme (NSS), Youth Services Road Ribbon Club and Nehru Youth Centre, Youth Leadership Training Camp, Hiking Trekking Camp, Inter-State Cultural Exchange. They are also encouraged to participate in programs, which are very helpful in their talents as well as in building multi-faceted personality. There are also benefits to enrolling in organizations and jobs. Volunteers also have the opportunity to participate in the Republic Day parade and become a United Nations volunteer.

In order to develop the personality of the students in a balanced manner, there is a proper arrangement of sports as well as education in the college. The college hosts sports like cricket, basketball, volleyball and athletics. Students are also provided opportunities to participate in various sports competitions at university level, State level and National level as per their choice.
